fler fonetik floppar / more phonetics misses
Vad förväntar de sig. Jag kan inte tala franska! Haha.
What do you expect, I can't speak French! Haha. Anyway, so we have 3-4 phonetics sessions a week so that we can prepare for the placement test on Sep 30. We have group sessions where you sit at a computer and do your own thing, and once per class read a tongue twister. These classes have gone well. But we also have 2 individual sessions. I had my first one yesterday. It didn't go very well. It started out with the lady saying something I didn't understand, and not after she repeated it either. She goes "oh oh oh" sighs and makes an additional note. What does she expect, she knows I've only had a semester of beginners french, where we hardly spoke at all. Then I have to read some sentences. She wasn't to happy about that either. So I have to practice alooooooot she says. She then accuses me of not being serious about it, since I smile to much when she explains things! That's what I do! It doesn't mean that I'm not serious about it. I might have been a bit unfocused in the end, but partly because I was tired of her complaining. I pronounced the "e" in "trouve"...and didn't enunciate the final "e" enough in "Excusez"....
